Season 2: Episode 9

Chaos Creators vs. Vibe Protectors This episode was a rollercoaster of energy, and the cast was clearly split between those trying to stir the pot and those trying to keep the lid on. Let’s break it down: ๐Ÿงจ Chaos Creator: Mary   Mary was all over the place in this episode. She hosted an Italian cooking class and told everyone to dress in Italian streetwear, whatever that means. She then decides punished Whitney for not answering her FaceTime calls by demanding she show up in full mafia attire... and then got mad when she didn't even though everyone else was on a different theme. At dinner, she wouldn’t let Whitney get a word in and dropped a condescending “little girl” that set the tone for a full verbal takedown. Also add on a dozens of nasty texts and a meltdown when Meredith comforted Whitney instead of her? Mary girl, get it together. ๐Ÿง˜‍♀️ Vibe Protector: Meredith Meredith is trying, okay? She plans a peaceful girls trip to Vail and wants everyone to get alon...

Season 2: Episode 8

Episode 8: A Wolf Pack of Secrets Listen, not every episode can be unhinged and a mess of screaming and arguing, and unfortunately, this week's episode will not win any Emmys. My original plan for this week was to rank the most dramatic housewives from this episode, but after watching it, I've decided to change it up and rank who gave me the least to work. The rankings will go from "somewhat entertaining" to "why am I watching this?". 1. Lisa - The Only One Doing Anything Lisa is the only reason this episode had a pulse. She hosted an event with her sons, stirred the pot between Jen and Whitney, and got some insider gossip about Mary's church. I've seen Lisa do way more in episodes but this week I am just grateful she at least gave me something. 2. Jen - Overreacting for the Cameras (Again) Jen's most interesting moment this week was yelling at Lisa for bringing up something that apparently was not supposed to be talked about on camera ( normal...

Who Stirred the Pot the Most? A Definitive Ranking     This week I will be ranking who I feel caused the most drama in the episode. I will be leaving out some women who didn't play a big enough role to be ranked, but I'm sure their time will come soon. 5.  Jennie: The Unintentional Stirrer Jennie wasn't actively trying to start drama this episode, but she still managed to anyway. While Lisa and Mary were fighting before the girls went tubing, Jennie stepped in and yelled at everyone to STFU, which then led to an argument with Mary. She later apologizes when they all sit down for a meal and explains that she was just having a rough day and they all forgave her. Unfortunately, she still made my list.  4. Lisa: The Master Manipulator  Lisa loves to act as if she is above the drama, but if we are being honest, she is the one who causes most of it. She spent this episode pretending she wasn't mad at Whitney, downplaying her involvement in the Angie drama, and ...

Season 2: Episode 6

Episode 6: Sex, Lies, and Sister Wives In honor of the Oscars happening this past Sunday, I am going to be giving out awards for this week's episode of Salt Lake. The Most Delusional Quote: Duy, Jennie's Husband ๐Ÿ† "Why if we get a sister wife?" The topic that got the most screen time from this week's episode was Jennie and her husband Duy's disagreement on having more kids. Jennie is completely against the idea and Duy's solution was to suggest to her that they get a surrogate or a sister wife (Yes, he suggested they become polygamists). Jennie honestly kept her composure pretty well when Duy brought this up considering the fact her husband of 10+ years just suggested bringing another woman into their marriage so she could give him more children. To sum up the rest of the conversation, Jennie told him "No. Absolutely not." and walked away. This is kind of a crazy storyline for someone new to the show this season and I'm hoping for a Duy ap...

Season 2: Episode 5

Episode 5: Gin and Bear It This whole episode just feels like damage control from the past few episodes. There are some important events that happen but overall, a pretty tame.  The fallout from casino night is carried on as Lisa continues to try and clear her name after being accused of sabotaging Angie's event. Whitney is still not buying that Lisa was not involved. However, in a surprising turn, Lisa and Whitney meet up over a meal and agree to start fresh, move forward, and build their friendship (I don't think this truce will last very long). Meanwhile, Jen Shah meets with Merideth's son Brooks to finally apologize for her shady behavior on Twitter. After months of denying and deflecting, she acknowledges that liking tweets mocking his sexuality could actually be harmful to his character. Brooks didn't seem fully convinced with her apology and honestly, neither would I. At this point, only time will tell of Jen is going to change her behavior moving forward (prob...

Season 2: Episode 4

Episode 4: Friendship Roulette This episode picks up where last week's episode ended with Merideth and Jen still arguing on the ice fishing excursion. Jen threw a tantrum, ranted to her assistant, and then finally gave Merideth a very half-ass apology before they hugged it out.  This episode introduces us to Angie Harrington, a new friend of the Housewives who is almost an official member of this season's cast. She was not in the previous episodes but has her own confessionals in this one. She is friends with Lisa, a newfound cousin of Whitney, and is hosting an upcoming '70s-themed casino charity night. Angie first meets with Lisa for lunch and invites her to the casino night. Then later, Whitney meets up with Angie and Angie tells her that her caterer for the casino night suddenly canceled after Angie had mentioned to Lisa that she is friends with Whitney. Whitney tells Angie that is it not a coincidence and is convinced Lisa is sabotaging the event out of jealousy.  ...

Season 2: Episode 3

Episode 3:  Fishing for the Truth Introduction: This episode had a lot of filler moments, so I'll share some of those before we get into this week's main event when the girls go ice fishing. Heather talked about her growing business, Beauty Lab + Laser Jennies husband still wants more kids Mary had lunch with her son The Lead-Up to Ice Fishing: Jen decides to plan a day of ice fishing for all the women in an attempt to move forward with the group and smooth some things over with Merideth. She meets up with Lisa to share her plans and Lisa vents to her about having issues with Whitney (there's literally no reason for her to have any issues). Also before ice fishing, Merideth has Mary over to gain some insight into the situation with Brooks and how to move forward because Mary has past involvement being on Jen's hate train. Mary encourages Merideth to use the ice fishing trip as a chance to set boundaries with Jen. Breaking the Ice: When Merideth shows up at the ice fis...
