Season 2: Episode 11

 



Keeping on the theme of Jens Shah's arrest from the last episode, I give you:

🏆 Most to Least Likely to Visit Jen in Jail

1. Heather Gay
Heather should have "ride or die" tattooed on her forehead. She’s said from the start that she’ll stand by Jen, no matter what. Even with all the headlines, lies, and drama, Heather’s loyalty hasn’t wavered. If Jen’s allowed visitors, Heather’s is at the top of the list.

2. Jennie Nguyen
Jennie is surprisingly neutral in all this. She’s logical and cautious, but she’s also been vocal about not judging Jen until all the facts are out. She’d probably show up once, mostly out of curiosity and politeness.

3. Whitney Rose
Whitney is complicated. She says Jen owes everyone an explanation, but she’s also always poking around for more information. Would she visit Jen? Maybe. But only if she could ask 47 follow-up questions and turn it into an emotional growth moment. She’d probably show up with crystals and a list of things to “process.”

4. Lisa Barlow
Lisa’s not showing up unless it’s part of a Vida Tequila brand campaign (Vida is Lisa's tequila company). She is too busy protecting her image to show up to jail for Jen Shah. Plus she shared in this episode that she feels like she doesn't even know Jen anymore and feels like their whole friendship is a lie.

5. Meredith Marks
Meredith is completely disengaged. After revealing she hired a private investigator and believes Jen is behind all the creepy anonymous texts her family received, there is zero chance she’s setting foot in a prison to visit Jen. Honestly, she’s probably already blocked the jail’s number.

6. Mary Cosby
Mary didn’t even want to go on this trip to Vail, so I really don't see her pulling up to a jail. Absolutely not. She’s said she’s never seen anything good in Jen and would sooner bless the prison than step inside. Mary ghosted Whintey over a missed call so I doubt she’s making time for a felon.

    Hi Regan,

    I’m sure I should have been following your blog from the beginning to have more context and really understand what’s going on, but it looks like a fun show! There is a lot happening, and probably a lot of drama too.
    What stood out to me is the fact that Lisa is “too busy protecting her image” to visit Jen in jail. That’s funny and wild at the same time! I guess they were friends before, so Jen needs better people around her...
    I have to give credit to Heather though, because by standing by Jen’s side no matter what, she proves she’s a real one.
    It was fun reading through your blog! I’m not sure this is the kind of show I’d usually watch, but it definitely seems to be fun!

Season 2: Episode 6

  Episode 6: Sex, Lies, and Sister Wives In honor of the Oscars happening this past Sunday, I am going to be giving out awards for this week's episode of Salt Lake. The Most Delusional Quote: Duy, Jennie's Husband đźŹ† "Why if we get a sister wife?" The topic that got the most screen time from this week's episode was Jennie and her husband Duy's disagreement on having more kids. Jennie is completely against the idea and Duy's solution was to suggest to her that they get a surrogate or a sister wife (Yes, he suggested they become polygamists). Jennie honestly kept her composure pretty well when Duy brought this up considering the fact her husband of 10+ years just suggested bringing another woman into their marriage so she could give him more children. To sum up the rest of the conversation, Jennie told him "No. Absolutely not." and walked away. This is kind of a crazy storyline for someone new to the show this season and I'm hoping for a Duy ap...

Season 2: Episode 4

  Episode 4: Friendship Roulette This episode picks up where last week's episode ended with Merideth and Jen still arguing on the ice fishing excursion. Jen threw a tantrum, ranted to her assistant, and then finally gave Merideth a very half-ass apology before they hugged it out.  This episode introduces us to Angie Harrington, a new friend of the Housewives who is almost an official member of this season's cast. She was not in the previous episodes but has her own confessionals in this one. She is friends with Lisa, a newfound cousin of Whitney, and is hosting an upcoming '70s-themed casino charity night. Angie first meets with Lisa for lunch and invites her to the casino night. Then later, Whitney meets up with Angie and Angie tells her that her caterer for the casino night suddenly canceled after Angie had mentioned to Lisa that she is friends with Whitney. Whitney tells Angie that is it not a coincidence and is convinced Lisa is sabotaging the event out of jealousy.  ...
